Best atmosphere in Tokyo

I used to go this Starbucks store of "Meguro" near the Meguro station. This is also Concept  store and located under the headquarter of Starbucks Japan. I believe this is the best Starbucks Japan atmosphere in Tokyo.

Modern interior design ideas that blend concrete with wood look stylish, warm and very comfortable. Even though there are native american quilts and painting of coffee plantation, we can feel the Japanese atmosphere in this shop.

I think it becomes from Japanese minimalism like Zen. This store is not enough space for all but there are many ingenious attempts. Please come and get a taste of this atmosphere. Unfortunately, almost Starbucks store in Tokyo is often crowded, especially on Sunday and Saturday afternoon. In that case, it is not easy to find the seat. But at this store, you can sit on the desired seat with the staff's guidance after the waiting in line.

This store sells Japanese ceramics-inspired mugs which can't be bought the other stores. In addition, I would like to add the comment that the staffs provide the excellent service anytime for free.

Location

I think Meguro city is not popular for tourist but it is actually full of traditional crafts and design shops. Meguro is also the home to the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum (http://www.teien-art-museum.ne.jp/en/) and famous Japanese restaurant "Tonki" (http://www.tripadvisor.jp/Restaurant_Review-g1066450-d1677865-Reviews-Tonki-Meguro_Tokyo_Tokyo_Prefecture_Kanto.html). I also recommend them after enjoying this Starbucks.

"Concept store" of Starbucks in Japan

When visiting Japan, some tourist are often used to get bothered by no free Wi-Fi. In that case, Starbucks is best choice due to offering free Wi-Fi service in every store.

Starbucks store of "Toyama Kansui Park" is the first Concept store designed in the park. Kansui Park also known as Canal Park is the place where Toyama used to receive all of its shipments by ship before the advent of truck logistics and modern road systems. 

In spring, the park is filled with full bloomed cherry blossoms. The autumn leaves was also beautiful when I visited in November. Some people enjoyed the lunch on the stretch of turf.

It is illuminated with the romantic lights at night. You can enjoy the nice view from the store be covered with grass. 

This store was awarded the ultimate store design prize, selected out of all Starbucks stores worldwide. With its beautiful views, this store also enjoys popularity among visitors to Toyama, both from Japan and abroad. 

I regret to inform there is no special goods and menu but staffs are providing the excellent service. I proudly recommend you for having a time in this store.

Toyama is small town but getting more popular to visit after Gokayama’s historic Gassho-style thatched-roofed farmhouses were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the cultural category in 1995. Besides, Toyama is one of the best places of Onsen (Japanese hot spring) and Sushi.

If you get the chance to visit Toyama city, you really should visit to this Starbucks store and beautiful park.
